Texas
So we went to Tx for Christmas. We brought the dogs. Gwen dug a few holes in my in-law's yard, which I was angry about at first...and then realized that she'd dug up a whole bunch of bones (gross). I've made some New Years Resolutions (aka goals). 20 to be exact. And I've prioritized them. I've been thinking, lately, about how I want my life to play out and if my goals match with what I truly desire. Life changes always throw me for a loop. It was nice to see family and friends again, but has magnified how much some people have changed. It did make me long to live near (aka within a 6 hour drive) my family once again. I doubt it will ever happen, but I can always dream. Did I mention that I got to hold my one and only nephew for the first time? He was out of his normal routine, so got crabby sometimes, but not any more than an average baby would. Plus, he fell asleep in my arms one day. What a cutie patooty. It was nice to get back home, even if I miss my mom. I'm back at work now and am excited to have tomorrow off. I honestly think Chris might've given me his sickness...which was probably my fault as I stole his pillow to sleep on last night. Oops. Oh well.
