The Vacation!!!
There's so much that I COULD talk about. Naw... Who cares about the important stuff? If I remember, I'll post the picture that Yost and I got taken at the Mall of America. So, we took 2.5 days off of work before school starts to "take a break." The first day, I had to work until six, so we just lazed around that night and went to visit with some friends (aka went to Josh and Wendy's house to discuss what we're going to be doing for the newlyweds group that all four of us will be co-hosting...I'm so excited...and scared). Then, the first full day, we went to Glacial Lakes State Park and did some walking and sight seeing and roasted marshmallows and hot dogs and made a massive fire (collecting firewood is illegal, but we just went around to all of the empty campsites and stole the leftovers from their pits...gross, huh?) That was great, but I had a hard time sleeping (bumpy ground, my feet were cold, there were weird noises and I kept thinking that everything was going to tie into us being abducted...I've been watching too many...aka 2...scary movies like that). The next day, we went to the Mall of America and had our pictures taken Western-Way. That's one thing I've wanted to do for quite a while. We also went to the largest underground aquarium in America because I had coupons that said free admission on the front and $3 off one adult admission on the back and they ended up letting us in for free (which is great because it saved us about $30 and we gave away three other tickets so we saved a family about that much as well...Plus, that was the one thing Yost wanted to do. Yea! We both got to do the one thing we wanted!!!) Okay, so I think Yost and I are the more logical side of the pendulum. My friend's written me several times in the past month, pretty much every time saying that they're having financial struggles...And yet, everytime she writes, she talks about a different place they're going or thing they're doing. Twenty thou in loans; Cancun for a flag festival; white water rafting; Vegas for the week... Makes me realize that people are WAY different. Priorities or desires or whatever. Interesting to see how vast God created us. Yost and I have a list of big items that any of which may happen in the next several years, ranging... Anyway, That's the story of my past week. School starts in a few days. Yea.
